The 2015 Prius+ gets refinement package with new styling equipment and upgraded suspension system
There is the only one seven seater Hybrid available in the UK and that is Toyota Prius+ Hybrid and it gets a refinement package for the 2015. It has refined equipment package from suspension to interior. It has been updated for 2015, the price details will be announced very soon, more likely near to the release date at the end of 2014. The new Prius+ has fresh looks and radical redesigning with new gloss black grille design and badge. It also features smart LED headlights and daytime running lights. Rear bumper is also refreshed and had a new design while the tail lights are also modified. There are two new colours introduced for the Europe, a dark sherry metallic and attitude black mica. We will announce later if there are any specific colours for UK. Interior has a bit more modification with a silver metallic finish and chrome finish to the air vents and dashboard. Toyota has also introduced a “Touch 2” touch screen infotainment system. It includes a Bluetooth connectivity and rear camera and most importantly you can update the system with satellite navigation and live traffic kind apps. Intelligent parking assist system and hill start system is also offered however you can enjoy the electronic seating system on the Prius+. Drive information display exclusively shows the battery health and levels along with powertrain modes selected and the estimated fuel economy. The Japanese automaker has done some serious work to improve the riding and handling experience of new Prius+. Toyota has made the changes to suspension damping force. There is also a better sound insulation to reduce road noise coming through the body of the vehicle. EU6 emission standards are adopted to make the already green Hybrid powertrain further greener environment friendly.Categories
