Toyota Proace Verso MPV about to join the Citroen and Peugeot on 2016 Geneva motor show with nine seats and class-leading Toyota Verso engines. At the Toyota stands on Geneva Motor Show this year, the new Proace will make its debut and it will be open for orders later on this year. The SpaceTourer of Citroen and the Traveller from Peugeot will also be available on the show. These two models are the siblings of the new Proace Verso because three of them are sharing the same platform.
There is nothing officially disclosed about the vehicle but if the Verso Proace sharing the same platform with other two vans, then it can the assume that the Proace will be offered in three wheel bases from 4.6 metre, 4.95 metre and 5.3 metre. All these three sizes will facilitate the buyers to opt for a five, seven and nine-seaters with more than 4950 litres of cargo capacity.
Like Peugeot and Citroen, Toyota Proace will likely to get two Toyota diesel engines with two different powers. There will be 94bhp and 113bhp options offered with 51.3 miles per gallon and 55.3 miles per gallon respectively.
Apart from the 1.6-litre diesel engine, there will be 2.0-litre diesel engine with 148bhp and 178bhp, emitting 133g/km and 144g/km of CO2 and 53mpg and 49mpg respectively. Other features include the most famous Start/Stop system, adaptive cruise control system, lane departure warning system, collision alert and safety braking system will be offered on the comprehensive safety packages.
On the equipment list, the Proace Verso will be powered by Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink offered with a seven-inch touchscreen display. It will assist you to park the vehicle through 180-degree parking camera assistant also integrated with the central console.
