As an official partner of Red Nose Day 2015, Toyota will be starting nationwide string of activities aimed to raise £1m
With a combined workforce of over 10,000 individuals, Toyota UK has initiated a fundraiser which will bring all of its businesses in UK together. It has been reported that all the money will go to the Red Nose Day by Comic Relief, the sole purpose of which is to improve the living standards of inhabitants of both countries, the UK and Africa. Raising a £1m for charity may sound a bit tough in the beginning but Toyota is very hopeful and highly ambitious about it that it has planned to get all of its businesses, not just the employees and the retail partners in the UK, break out into their localities and host some really challenging yet fun things which will help them reach their goal and raise that money. Sales and Marketing Director for Toyota Material Handling UK, Tony Wallis is hugely moved by this decision and passionately describes his feeling regarding this cause, he said that they are really delighted to be able to support this great charity by bringing together the whole Toyota family in the UK. They will put in all their efforts to raise as much as they can to help, meanwhile there will be a lot of fun too during all this activity. The official red noses for the vehicles of any make or model will also be available exclusively at all the dealer network and Toyota companies at a minor price of £5 only which will be going directly to the Comic Relief. All the sales, after-sales and support teams at Toyota Material Handling UK are challenged to sell as many of these red noses as possible while having some fun at their centres. This kind of great opportunities rarely come by, and they are really enjoying working together as a big team.Categories
